The smell hit me pretty hard as soon as I walked in. I probably should have walked back out. The best part about the place was that the staff was very friendly. But the food was pretty blah. Sports bar atmosphere, very big inside with lots of TVs. Typical bar fare menu- think lots of fried things. Only bad meal... More

Management response:

Sorry for the inconvenience with the smell of smoke, we are a non-smoking restaurant . We do have a lot of guests that smoke cigars and cigarettes on our patio and with the flow of business going in and out the doors smoke comes in. Hopefully we can have you back for dinner and not have that same issue with... More

Great gathering place for any occasion. Food for adults and children. TVs for game day make for sports day fun in bar area or restaurant. Kelsey was our server and she did an excellent job. My favorite "brewery" in my area.

Thank mann_dee
Management response:

Kelsey is one of our best! And, if you haven't been here for a UT football game, you got to check us out! More

The bar food (pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and full dinners) is decent, the beer is good, and there isn't a seat in the house without good viewing of the myriad TV screens. It has a good local bar/pub atmosphere, with no chain feel. Staff is friendly and courteous, the atmosphere relaxed, comfortable, casual and friendly.

Thank Deborah D
Management response:

Also, ours beers are made in-house as is 90% of our food. Thanks for your review! More

My family and I had lunch here during the week and had an average experience. The beers are excellent as is the layout and decor of the place. The have a lot of flat screens with all sorts of sports showing so no matter where you sit, you can see a large flat screen. The booths also have a small... More

This was the only stop on the Knoxville Ale Trail that we had time for as it was close to the interstate. There are screens for every team, labeled with the game of the day via a sign taped beneath the screen. Not sports fans, we came for the food and the beer and were not disappointed. Eight beers are... More

This place has the best Long Island Tea in town. I'm not a beer drinker, but they seem to serve plenty. The food is pretty consistent and it's a fun atmosphere. Service varies, but is usually pretty good.

Stopped by during a UT game. Receptionist just shrugged when we came in and told us we could look for a seat but...Luckily it was the third quarter and we were able to find 2 seats at one of the bar tables. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening due to the game and its fans. Food was just ok, service good. But... More

Stopped here for dinner on our overnight through Knoxville, couldn't have chosen better. Even though there were some other favorites within a stones throw (Bonefish, Fleming's, Longhorn) the were looking for microbrewer beer and bar food that night. The flights are 6 oz pours and come in 3,4, or 5 choices - which is very convenient as you're not ordering... More

Serve Simple Foods Whatever the specific restaurant concept, the ability to create menu items in a consistently excellent manner is directly related to ease of production and simplicity of presentation. Consistency at a high level is always more important than innovation. Use The Finest quality Ingredients There is no more essential factor in a successful menu program than the quality of ingredients used in food preparation. Starting with the best is the only possible way to end up with the best. Keep The Environment Clean, Organized and In Proper Working Order Concern for the guest means being attentive to all environmental details from maintenance of the physical plant to the personal grooming of each individual employee. Cleanliness and order are the keys to building guest confidence in the establishment. Make Memorable Moments It is the perfecting of all the little details in a restaurant that makes the guest's dining experience a memorable one. With every action, the appropriate question is: does this act show a commitment to excellence and respect for the patronage of the guest? Work As a Team Ease, efficiency and enjoyment of the restaurant experience, for both employees and guests, is directly related to the level of respect, support and cooperation among the staff. Any restaurant guest is everybody's guest; any restaurant responsibility is everybody's responsibility.
