We went here for dinner based on recommendations from a friend! We sat outside and the whole dinner was so good. We had Fried Green Tomatoes for starters which were a culinary treat. For our entrees we had the Sweet Potato pancakes and Mountain Trout stuffed with cornbread. It was truly the yummiest meal! Our server Emily was amazing. We... More

I always want to love this restaurant but it is always just average at best. The biscuits are, however, heavenly....and this is from a southerner born and raised on biscuits! Bottom line, it is never bad but I never leave thinking, "wow, that was a great meal!" Try it once if you haven't for those biscuits and maybe you'll find... More

I could have made a meal on their biscuits and honey. Yum ..if the remainder of the meal was as good, then we knew we were in for a treat. We were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was busy and parking (as anyone who ever goes to market... More

This is a wonderful restaurant and never disappoints. Chicken and Gravy is superb. The chicken Cobb salad is a meal in itself. And of course the biscuits are great

We ate in the bar area. The service was great as was the food. I actually had a Veggie Burger and loved it. They make their own veggie black bean burger. Beer choices were good with my favorite being the house Red Rye draft.

This was to be our special meal. Unfortunately it was special in that it was VERY disappointing. Why? The service was mediocre, not what would be expected at a fine dining establishment. We had two entrees - The sweet potato pancake with fried chicken presented well but the chicken was dry. Our other meal was the signature dish pork chop... More

I went based on recommendations from friends and I must say I was not impressed at all! Food was average at best but the prices were not in line with the food at all! Any time I leave hungry after paying what I paid, I won't be going back...maybe if I had a gift card...

Excellent place to eat but a little on the fru-fru side. I had a fried green tomato sandwich, which was excellent. My husband was afraid to branch out and try something new and just got the grilled cheese which I think he wasn't too happy with.

Reading some other reviews, I almost passed this place by: I'm glad that I didn't. Yes, the appetizer biscuit IS that good. I had the fried chicken with the crispy Brussels and the mac & cheese. I followed it all up with a slice of pecan pie. So full, and so happy that I came here. Food was served hot,... More

Our Southern dishes & libations are served with a creative twist & a smile. When we play with our food (& we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, & our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling & frying, canning & preserving, & utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.
