A great place for deli sandwiches hot or cold! And many grilled sandwich items; Side selections include; fries, potato wedges, cheese sticks, fired mushrooms, fried pickles and onion rings....also steak in a sack and chicken in pita bread! Many different items to choose from and a kids menus too! We all had the 6oz Black Angus Burger special, it was... More

Should have had the hamburger steak!! I had the Lasagna with a salad and garlic bread instead. The Lasagna was good but there was not much meat in the sauce!!! Salad was good, with 1000 Island dressing, but as you can see from the picture pretty plain I was comparing their prices to another one of my favorite places to... More

My husband saw this place out of the corner of his eye as we were traveling on the opposite side of Middlebrook Pike. It was a great find! I had the fried/breaded chicken breast sandwich with lettuce, mayo and Grainger County tomatoes (YUMMM). The bun that it was served on was fantastic - not a burger bun, but similar. My... More

Sign says restaurant. It's a deli. (stand up and order, they yell out your name when its ready, stand up to pay, etc) Be more careful looking at the prices than I was. Evidently they have a loyal local following, but almost $12 for lunch with water as your beverage is out of line for a place fully engaged in... More

The things that set apart these burgers are the buns (they ship these in from New York bakery) and the angus beef. Always a great burger that is cooked the way you want and served very quickly. Onion rings are great and the fries !

I like Jacobs but the burgers are frozen before they are cooked. Also I think it is too pricy. More than 10 bucks for burger fries and a drink. I'll head to 5 Guys in the future for fresh meat and more fries than I can eat for less.

Jacob, the owner, mans the grill. And it's a really good burger. The fries are a sin in a basket. Done to fried perfection. I always get the bigger burger but can never finish it. Tiny little place but awesome.

My husband works near this restaurant, and we carpool, so I drive by Jacob's every day. I was very curious, so we finally went there on a Friday night after work and before rehearsal. Perfect! It wasn't too crowded, and the 6 oz. Black Angus beef burger was the special. I subbed onion rings for fries; Dear Hubby got a... More

I have known Jacob for about 20 years I worked in the area and had eaten at his restaurant many times, the food is some of the best around, everything on the menu is outstanding, but above that, here is the thing the empresses me the most. I changed jobs that moved away from his restaurant for a few years,... More

The cheeseburger here is one of the best in Knoxville. The service is fast. The food servings are average and a little pricey but very good. The inside is crowded for seating, so it is best to carryout.
