I live in Cookeville now & I still compare other restaurants to this one. My favorite is the Elvis burrito & house margarita. Yummy!!!

This place is pretty good. It's got a good menu a very nice bar and it's decently priced. I can't think of anything that really stands out, but the service is good and it's always fun to visit. Give it a try.

Not your usual Mexican restaurant. Don't expect the usual burrito, refried beans, and rice. Each dish is special. You've got to try the Elvis. Ecelectic decor, good service, good prices, and always a nice crowd.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is of the highest quality, inventive, and simply tastes great. I recommend it highly. It's a very small restaurant with an interesting bar as well. A great location for a cozy dinner.

Chez Guevara is our neighborhood bar and grill of choice. The food is good, a unique take on Tex-Mex cuisine and the margaritas are second to none! Serving are very large, so we have never been able to make it to dessert. The atmosphere is...More

This is the best choice in Knoxville for a local non-chain Tex-Mex restaurant. One of those restaurants that has been a local favorite for decades -- and really hasn't changed much. Wish they had draft beer, but no big deal.

This is the only Mexican restaurant that I've found in Knoxville that doesnt serve prepackaged frozen food. The great margaritas and unique decor close the deal.

Everything is good & served hot from the kitchen. Chips and salsa are great but spring for the spinach queso dip. Tostada ultimata is my favorite. You could also go cheap & just order a taco & an enchilada.

No, Chez Guevara does not take reservations. They open at 5 pm and patrons begin arriving. At the height of the dinner rush, I have had to wait up to 30-45 min. for a table at times. But, typically it does not take that long. More
