Having toured the country this particular Saturday we decided to go home through Cavan. By far the best steaks on the east side of the shannon. Myself and my wife were over awed by the perfect cooked steaks, I had fillet and she had Tbone. sides were plentiful and the staff were curtious. That's my second very good visit to... More

Have been a regular customer over past 20 years. Recently service is not as good as before. Food served cold on cold plates. Also my favourite scampi has been removed from the new curtailed menu. The Riverfront in Virginia has surpassed this place now.

We come to the Lisgrey on a regular basis. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. The only negative is that the menu does not change much so if you are a regular visitor you could get bored with the menu. But I would recommend it and especially the fillet steaks mmmm

I was here for a party, so I can't really comment on the entire venue or their normal level of service, etc. We had the party area to ourselves - and the bar as well. The bar wasn't that much in use as they'd set up a bar in the party area. I'm not sure if that's normally a dining... More

Myself and my family have eaten here numerous times over the years. I honestly cant fault the place. All the dishes I've had are superb and I am a sucker for the soup and garlic potatoes. Service is always friendly and helpful, Goes without saying I will defiantly be dining here again.

Called in here on way back from golfing trip to Dublin. We had dinner and the quality of the food was excellent. I had eaten here before and the quality of the food is consistent. It is great value for travellers from the North of Ireland due to the exchange rate for the euro. It is really excess able as... More
