Unfortunately our last visit to The Magpie Inn was dreadful regarding the food. We do like this pub because it has a fantastic selection of craft beers and ciders, and go there quite often for drinks. The menu changed a couple of months ago and...More

Bought a "full Irish" breakfast and Americano. Cost me €14. Plate was half full. One piece of bacon, one small piece of black pudding. One slice of toast. Complained but was told this is normal.

Popped into this place for drinks. I'm not sure if it should be called an 'Inn' - for me it's mostly a restaurant which has a bar. It doesn't have a bar 'atmosphere', we just had two pints (expensive at that), left and headed down...More

I have lunched at Magpie from time to time. Recommended as a good place for pub grub in Dalkey. Good service. Prime position on a corner looking down the main street. Fish pie recommended. Also fish cakes. Friendly service

This is like the Davis' of Eastport Annapolis. It's on the edge of town and is great for a point of Guinness and bar food. You'll need to ask the bartender for a second drink or for your check. I waited for about 20 minutes...More

Dalkey is a short ride on the DART from Dublin, but it seems that not that many tourists find their way out there. Even though it is just a few steps down from the railway station and you are in beerlovers heaven. The Magpie handles...More
