Taste, presentation, depth of flavors. This place had it all. The less formal pub restaurant was terrific. Would make the same choice again for dinner

We arrived an hour late due to traffic (arrived at 9pm instead of 8pm). The service didn't rush us at all and the food was excellent!
The Owenmore is the restaurant for the Ballynahinch Castle Hotel. The food was superb. It's a 3 course prix fixe menu, at least for guests, but the choices are all good. Anything with smoked eel should be ordered - I'd never had eel, and it...More
We had a 4 course dinner here during out stay at Ballynahinch Castle. The meal was superlative and we enjoyed trying the various entrees/desserts. The chocolate lava cake was among the best desserts I've ever had.

Great service....extensive wine list and attentive service. The lamb was an unusual choice for my husband but he loved it. The chocolate torte dessert was to die for.
Ate breakfast here every morning, it was a delightful way to start the day. The continental buffet was delicious with a nice variety of items, service was accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful setting overlooking the river at Ballinahinch castle hotel, excellent menu with very attentive service, relax with coffee after dinnner in one of the many lounges.
The chef here has a handle on new ideas without taking you to places you don't want to go. Execution is excellent and service is fine dining standards. Some of the best meals in Ireland had here at the end of a long active day.
