THis place is an institution in the west of Ireland. It never fails to deliver. Only the fleshed fish is put on the menus and is perfectly prepared. The lamb from award winning butchers in Oughterard ( Finnerty's ) is special. The hot plates and friendly young staff show the enthusiasm that goes into making this the best Restaurant in... More

Popped in to refuel, had tomato basil soup and a toasted sandwich, very nice. Little one had a burger which was clearly made in house, not something you see often so thats good! Nice server also!

We were staying at the hotel in which this restaurant is housed and had the crab claws to tide us over till dinner. The crab claws were one of my favorite dishes on our 10 day trip to Ireland. In fact we traveled back to Roundstone just for the crab claws.

Excellent crab claws & delicious black sole. Very reasonably priced (for fish!) 7 diners & everyone very happy with their choices. I'm still dreaming about their banoffee pie. Divine 🤓

We were too early to eat in the restaurant so we sat at the bar...we had great service and a fun chat with the waiters/bartenders....easy, light dinner at the bar on our first night in lovely Roundstone!

We have never had a bad meal in here and we have eaten in Vaughans too many times to count. The open crab sandwich is my favourite. Fresh, great quality produce and as for the the desserts.. It's hard to choose as they are all too nice!

Visited for lunch today and it was well scrummy Nom Nom Nom for the shepherds pie and lasagne. Great portion size with decent salad and lots of chips. We got a table outside so could watch the world go by while dining ;0)
