A beautiful building overlooking the Atlantic.I really didn't know what to expect as it is in a touristy area but I wasn't disappointed. We sat outside as it was a warm day and took in the lovely view. I had a tasty blue cheese, pecan and pear salad topped with a slice of toasted Barm Brack.Delicious! The others had fish and... More

We stopped here for lunch and the amazing view of the beautiful bay and islands, including Skellig Michael. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the tables outside in the sunshine were comfortable, and topping it off, the hamburger we ordered was the best one we've ever had in our entire lives. Listed as just a normal burger on the... More

We stopped here for a cup of tea/coffee. Lovely spot, coffee excellent, scone and jam delicious. The view is breathtaking. Toilets are pristine, good to see in visitor attractions.

stopped here during our drive around the dingle peninsula. staff was very friendly and menu and food were quite good. would strongly also agree that the film on the fort is worth viewing (to at least warm up and dry off) before touring the fort.

Great stop for lunch. Take time to check out the small tourist building next door which has a short film about the stone fort across the street. Worthwhile to do before touring the fort. The Stonehouse Restaurant is full of atmosphere and has a delightful menu. The best restaurant on the Dingle loop drive.

It was out of season so fairly quiet. Clean and pleasant surroundings. Very attentive (in a nice way) staff. The food came out quickly and was delicious!

Just stopped for a cup of coffee with hubby, he had a scrumptious slice of chocolate cake. As a coeliac, I noticed they did do gluten free sandwiches! And had allergies marked on the menu. Didn't have any this time but will give again. Cosy place, even on a very dull October day.

Good food! Yes there are typically Irish dishes like lamb stew, but we were surprised by dishes such as amazing goat cheese and plums toasted to perfection on ciabatta bread served with a salad. A great place to stop on your tour of Dingle Peninsula!

While the Stonehouse is about the only option for eating while visiting the various nearby historical sites, we found the staff to be welcoming and on top of their game. It was a little chilly outside, so they made sure to seat my wife close to the fire, which she appreciated greatly. The menu has all the pub basics as... More
