This was a real pleasant surprise! Myself and a friend arrived without a booking and they were very accommodating from the start. I love pasta Carbonara but I was worried it would do what many restaurants do and make it too creamy. I was therefore delighted when the waiter gave me the option of "dry or creamy". The dry penne... We come here about every 3 months, as do many others of our family. The menu hasn't changed much over the years, ie pate or prawns as a starter etc but why change what works? Staff are generally helpful, and David the maitre'd and owner knows his wines. All the food is understated, and exactly as described. No fancy dan... More

I can't believe I've been living in Maynooth for 3 years and only just visited Michaelangelo's this past week. I guess I'm spoilt for choice in Maynooth but I have to say the drive was worth it for the authentic Italian experience. It's nice when I hear the waiter telling my girlfriend that the carbonara is 'authentic Italian' and therefore... More

My first visit to Michelangelo's was just wonderful. Fantastic service, tastiest bruschetta I've ever had, beautiful pasta with plenty of plump, delicious prawns and amazing, silky, divine panna cotta....best I've ever had! Quite possibly the best dining experience this Aussie has had in Ireland! Can't wait to get back there!

My wife and me went to Michelangelo's for Sunday dinner and we were spoiled rotten. The food was excellent and the service was lovely. The staff made us feel at home.

We had a fantastic family lunch here today for 10. Their team are really friendly and nothing is a problem. They offer half portions of their pasta dishes for kids. Everything we ordered was delicious. Their pricing is very reasonable. Well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic meal here this evening, they catered for us, a large group, with ease, great food, very good portions, served by friendly and professional people, and absolutely incredible value! A must place to visit if you're eating out. 5 star, well done all in Michelangelo's
