We were staying at the hotel and was expecting there to be more choice as it is a 4star hotel. The food was better we thought in the bar.

A visit to Victor Hugo's House is well worth the effort as it has a fascinating history and interior plus you also learn a lot about the author himself and his impressive range of talents.

We arrived at the last minute and managed to get a cancellation. The guided tour was excellent and gave an insight into Victor Hugo's eccentric life style. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

We visited the house on a Sunday. Visits are by timed entry and while you wait, there is a beautiful garden to sit in with wonderful views. Not knowing much about Victor Hugo, we were very open minded and the enthusiasm of the young guide...More
