Food at this pub was some of the best pub grub we have had. Tanya the owner was very pleasant and nothing was too mush trouble. Delightful pub worth visiting we shall certainly visit again when in the area.

We ate here twice while on holiday in Combe and the food was excellent. The prawn cocktail was a very nice starter and the steak and the chicken were very nice Good main courses. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Enjoyed a great evening. Tanya and Lucy made us most welcome and the food was great. It is not a fast food restaurant. The food was full of flavours. Time and care was taken in its making. A place to relax in and not rush.

Good prices and friendly staff! Pool table and can pick own music. The landlords are really kind people. Had a carvery and it was lovely a lot of flavour and gravy was to die for.

Snobbery at its best! So sad that you prejudged your meal even before it had been cooked! I remember you as you spoke to all the staff as if we were something you had just stepped in. (Our group knew that something wasn"t quite right...More

After spending the day down the beach and having 3 children desperately wanting a hot dinner, we were looking for a place that were still serving a carvery at 5pm on a Sunday, we searched on trip advisor and found this place. We called ahead...More
