Great cakes and coffee in a cosy country environment staff were friendly with a free top up coffee. The ideal place to meet up with friends.

We've been here more than a dozen times for breakfast and the quality of the food and service is all over the shop. The manager is always polite, friendly and efficient but some of the servers are slow and get orders wrong. The food can be fantastic, but it can also be mediocre. Better quality control would make this place... More

This restaurant serves great food and excellent cakes and cream teas. Very good service. Opening hours a little bit short, too late for breakfast and close too early for supper or late tea.

Visited with family for the first time late in the morning. My husband had the corn dolly toasted teacake which was massive!! I had a tasty scone but the best value was the numerous free refills on the tea and coffee. We stayed for just under an hour and never felt uneasy or pushed to leave. Wonderful

I have been here a few times, food always delious so would definitely recommend anyone to visit. Only had coffee today with my son but you pay for the first and have as many refills as you want. Staff always attentive, professional and curtious.

A traditional olde worlde tea shop. Home made cakes and popular with locals and visitors alike. When my father was alive this was a weekly visit and any visitors were treated to a visit to the Corn Dolly. It does get very busy and tables are close together but the cakes make up for this!

While visiting friends in the area we chose the Corn Dolly for our lunch. It is a very quaint conversion of two houses and the space between them, into a quaint and charming 'tea shop' With a very extensive lunch menu we chose different meals and all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. I was disappointed in that the lovely home made... More

On opening the front door to the tea shop you will find yourself in a small hallway with a very old and uneven floor. High on the left wall is e very old leaded window and the whole atmosphere is cosy. We, a party of four, had to wait in the hallway for about ten minutes for a table to... More
