One of the loveliest pubs ive ever been to, authentic and cosy. Great roast dinner. Good location for a stop off on a walk for a pint or food, walking distance from Snapdown caravan site which i also love. Top notch!

This Country Inn is situated in a beautiful part of Devon with fantastic Countryside... The Food and Beers were very good with friendly staff... Try the Spare Ribs... Excellent... Worth a visit...

We had an awful time here. The landlord/ barman was rude and aggressive , as if we were a nuisance rather than customers. The food was over cooked and barely edible. It's the worst experience we have had for at least 20 years anywhere.

Four of us booked a light lunch at the pub. Soup was great, pasty fine and the paninis were lovely, but far too many chips!! Lovely, friendly atmosphere. When we are next in the area we will return.

We stayed in one of the holiday cottages. The overall standard of accommodation is tired and basic, we could have coped with that but the cleanliness was poor. The reaction of the owner to any problems we pointed out was to deny that there was...More
