We came for our first ever visit yesterday evening. I was so impressed by the set out of the place, lots of intimate nooks and crannies for groups to feel in their own private space. We had soup of the day and caesar salad to start, both delicious. For mains we had the Angus steak and the lamb kofta special.... More

this pub has a couple of great things going for it, the view is one. If it is warm sit in the beer garden and admire the spectacular view of Corfu Casle and surrounding countryside. The menu is quite extensive and it's good food. the actual pub is an old building that has many different bars and rooms. Staff are... More

poor value for money, advertised as homemade, the sandwiches were made from cheap supermarket standard bread, the crab still has shell in it, nothing on the plate was homemade, poor service wouldn't recommend

Went here with friends for an evening meal. Waited over one hour for very overpriced mediocre food in an empty restaurant. The two people behind the bar didn't seem interested in serving us and got someone else to do it! It's nothing special just a pretty gastro pub that's lucky enough to have great views of Corfe Castle. Like I... More

Used to visit here 40 years ago with my Grandfather and partly expected to be disappointed ... of course its changed, but I think the changes are sympathetic. Still lots of small rooms and atmosphere and you couldn't change the view! The food was good, service was good - especially as we went during school hols and at the end... More

This pub has one of the best views of the Corf valley other than from the old keep of the Castle. Set high on a hill you can see for miles from the gardens . If you only want to stop for a drink then it is ideal . The building is quaint and quirky with lots of knocks and... More

Not much light bite choice really... More

2nd time we have visited in 12 months. First the view. Yes the view is stunning, but that is thanks to geography, not the owners On our first visit we gave the benefit of doubt to the food, it was busy and 2 PM on a sunny August day. But this time,on a quiet day in April, we were again... More

Really good food and always some specials on. Cooked at time of ordering but worth the wait and is so fresh. Locally sourced and delicious. Good beer and wine too and sevice was extremely good. Extraordinarily good panoramic views of the castle and railway. Very busy establishment so best to book.
