Not the best experience. Eat off their specials board. Crab and lobster fish cakes were tiny (and contained shell) but were obviously homemade. Not worth £9 Spicy chicken burger was not chicken breast but a processed chicken burger with "Nando's " style peri peri sauce on it and cost £13. Have been to better Weatherspoons!

Thank you for visiting and reviewing our Inn over a very busy Easter Week. am sorry you didn't feel it was the best experience but thank you for trying our dishes from the specials board The chicken burger is home made using breast meat mixed with herbs and spices served with our rustic fries and a salad garnish for £11.95.... I'm gluten free and struggle especially with breakfast out.. The staff in the Quay called the supplier to check the contents of their sausages and black pudding. They also offered to amend the breakfast menu to suit my needs. Really could not be anymore helpful. Food was freshly made and locally sourced Amazing 😉 Thank you

This is a lovely old inn with a very good menu. Opted for steak on hot rock for both nights that we went there. The cuts of steak were fantastic-very little fat and no grissle. The fact that you can cook the steak to your liking is a bonus. Accompaniments were good. There was lovely weather when we visited so... More

We visited the Quay Inn on a local recommendation and weren't disappointed. The Black Rock Grill is a very similar experience to Stone Steak if you've ever been to the Algarve and on a Tuesday the offer of buy one, get one for £1 is outstanding value. The rib eyes were succulent, the mixed grill a feast and they have... More

We ate here on a busy Sunday evening. When ordering, we were told that food would take an hour, but it arrived after 30 minutes. Both our meals were very good, well cooked, tasty and well-presented. All the staff were friendly and accommodating and we would definitely return.

I am quite a regular here but decided to bring my family here for a Sunday Roast and the food was as excellent as always! The service from the staff was outstanding as always. Will definitely bring the family for a meal here again soon. A very friendly pub that serves great food, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Stopped in Wareham to grab a bite to eat and let the traffic queues to clear. Popped in and grabbed a table. We had steak and ale pie, meat was good quality and generous portion. Pie appeared to be deconstructed, ie puff pastry top and bottom with filling. Sea bass with samphire and sauted potatoes, was delightful. Compared to the... More
