This is my first TripAdvisor so here goes. Was visiting Comber the other afternoon and was intrigued by this Bistro. It looked busy and inviting so i thought we should give it a go and im glad we did! My partner and I were warmly greeted, shown to our seats promptly and offered drinks. Whilst looking through the menu there... More

Went here for dinner in the evening had the 5oz ribeye steak, this came served with warm mash floating in a pool of pepper sauce. Bread & butter pudding to finish was more like jam sponge although tasty not what I expected

This has to be the best place for breakfast in Comber, especially for vegetarians. I was torn between avocado and poached egg on sourdough or a flatbread with halloumi, mushroom, spinach, egg and spicy sauce. I went for the flatbread which was superb. My meat-loving husband was also spoilt for choice and had one of the best Eggs Benedict he's... More

Many thanks for visiting us and leaving a review. We are delighted you found the food tasty but less pleased that you did't find the pork dish up to standard. We apologise for the fact that we ran out of cabbage during service. As you clearly stated we were very busy and had a good run on a certain dish.... More

Lovely reception. Order taken quickly( which we were short of time was appreciated) We had prawn cocktail to start, lovely big plump prawns with a very nice marie rose sauce. Delisious! We then had the Christmas Dinner which was good too. Staff were friendly and helpful . No complaints whatsoever.

Had lunch with a friend. First of all the service was good and the staff was very friendly. We both ordered soup combo but the soup was stone cold and very salty we sent it back and declined a replacement. We were both so looking forward to a soup as it's a comfort food but it just turned out very... More

Thanks for taking time to leave a review. I am glad you found our service good but less happy in hearing problems with your soup. As we are trained to do, we checked on you, discovered the soup wasn't to your liking and offered you another choice which you declined. We also removed it from your bill. I would disagree... More

Comber has more good coffee shops for its size than my own home town of Bangor. This is the 4th one I've tried in Comber and not one so far has disappointed. However, for quality and flavour, the coffee here is the best. Segafreddo is usually excellent, and so it proved here. While there are other quirkier cafés in town,... More

Had a couple of lovely meals here recently. The food is really very good and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. The general nice vibe in the Sugarcane is added to by a very attentive staff. The crispy mushrooms that I had as starters were quite frankly amazing. They had some filling piped on top that I can only describe... More
