We booked a table after a day travelling, the staff were great but the food decidedly average. Scampi described as fresh and local almost definitely came from the freezer, and the fish pie had a lot of potato and very little fish. Disappointing

Not gourmet and doesn't pretend to be. Just wholesome plates with generous portions that are well prepared. Darn decent lunch. Service was slow and a little off, but we weren't in a hurry. Folks were friendly enough. Decent stop and worth a try.

The fish is buttered, crispy and tasty. The service is quick and eficient. Im used to take fish & chips every friday and from different places and the fish&chip from Waterfront Cafe is the best so far.
