Our last night in Falkland and we decided in the morning that we would go out and at that night. 11 people could have been difficult to fit but it as no problem to the restaurant. There was an amazing choice on offer, it was difficult to decide, but it didn't take too long. We had no room for desserts,... More

Popped into the covenanters today for a bar lunch with my wife. She had pate and oat cakes for starters, I had brie wedges. Main courses steak pie with new potatoes and braised liver and sausage with onion gravy. The food was real good decent plates for lunch and well cooked, couldn't complain at all, however, we had a can... More

Having not been here for over 15 years, decided to give it a try as the place we intended going to was closed. How glad are we that it was. I had a delicious take on a fish finger sandwich, which easily rivalled some of the posh and trendy Edinburgh eateries... but for half the price. Mum had a very... More

We didn't eat or stay here. We actually stopped here because this was a filming location from "Outlander". We weren't the only ones stopping to recreate the iconic scene from the first episode. The building is lovely and we popped inside to see that there were some "Outlander" pictures on a wall in the entryway. There's also a pocket Jamie... More

As if the fact that the food was not great was not enough, the staff were very unkind to our kids. We came for a nice family dinner and left as soon as we could having had a very poor experience. It is a pity, we stayed close by and would have been regulars if either the food (my husband... More

This property looks full of character on the outside and was used as a film location for Outlander but the restaurant area is modern and out of character to the building, however the lunch was fine and service good. Choice of two soups, which are welcome on a cold day and a range of specials from a limited menu were... More

We popped in here and we're very much impressed by the quality & the price of the selection of cakes & scones available here. The drinks were well received also. Service was friendly, efficient & courteous - so I will definitely return & for sure I would recommend this place also! excellent do 5/5 !

Middle of the road menu . Food presented well and was tasty. Staff were well trained and got on with the job without being constantly at your table. Seems popular as was fairly busy. Would come back if in Falkland again.
