First time in the hotel in 25 years. Had lunch with my daughter. All I can say is very good. A classy place. Traditional and quite old fashioned, but in a good way. Service was excellent. We had steak pie with veg and chips. Was very nice. Tasty meat and gravy. Not a huge menu, but covers all the bases... More

Stayed at this hotel back in Feb for just over 5 weeks. Hotel was lovely, Although the rooms could be updated a touch it was good. As I was there for so long for work, The chef (Paul) I couldn't fault, He made me whatever I wanted I just had to let him know the night before. I think he... More

Day trip from Edinburgh to take our little ones to Deep Sea world. Popped in for a drinks as the next train back to Edinburgh, where we were going to have lunch was not due for a bit. Having had a brief look at the menu and feeling quite comfortable where we were, decided to have lunch here, rather than... More

Decided to visit the Ferrybridge Hotel for a meal and it was lovely. The Salmon is 1st Class. Would recommend a visit even with new road layout it was easy to get to.

We were here for a wedding and the food was excellent, the décor is dated and in need of attention, but you cannot fault the food.

We were staying at another hotel for the night and because it was getting late when we arrived the chef had left, so we went to Ferrybridge to see if we could get a meal, well, we were in luck, we had steak and it was lovely, I had a diane sauce and my fella had the peppercorn sauce, we... More

Right by the railway bridge - so very loud trains from 5am to midnight. Rooms in poor state of decoration - expensive at £55 per night... Worth £35! Nice staff but I wouldn't visit again

We actually popped in for lunch with our little boy after visiting Deep Sea World (which is just round the corner). The fire was burning and we were welcomed warmly. We had soup, which was homemade and delicious. Served with a crusty warm roll and generous cubes of butter. Our little boy had chicken and chips from the children's menu.... More
