The Pierhead Tavern is a bit of a local pub and a bit of a restaurant, both bits are great! Everyone was really friendly, locals, staff and tourists and we were soon made to feel welcome. They have locally brewed Arran Ales on tap and...More

This very old establishment has been given a bit of an internal make over, and although not sure about the choice of Macintosh style furnishings, it has definitely given the old place a real lift. Plentiful choice of food and drinks on offer and generous...More

Pre booked as a group of 11 (adults & children). Lovely location near sea, with car park for easy parking opposite. Food was absolutely fabulous. Nice kids menu. Good value for money.

Great food, beer, and whisky menu. Pleasant local pub. Service a little iffy but all put right with a small refund. Nice old pool table. Pleasant folk and country music. Really lovely pies and great haggis.

Ten of us plus one dog had dinner on our final night of our week's holiday. Warm and friendly vibe, the food was tasty and well presented and the service was very friendly. Good value as well. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived here to watch a Status Quo tribute band. Food was being served up until 9pm. I didn't sample it as we had already eaten but what we saw being served looked good. A lot of money has been spent to modernise the interior. Good...More

Enjoyed an excellent dinner here with my wife. Spotted the venue when we visited the seafront whilst touring the island. Overlooks Holy Island and parking no problem. We had to change our mealtime at the last minute due to a car problem and this was...More
