Had lunch here today. Three soup selections and at least two of them were excellent ( I'd one and my wife a different one). Service and serving staff great. They even used common sense and asked if we wanted our tea after the soup! It arrived just at the right time! I'd suggest they give their staff name badges though... More

Outlook view across to Cumbrae lovely. Food ok from the freezer. Owner very rude, and very much a bully towards the young girl who was serving, spoke to her in a way I would not like my family to be spoken to. Didn't take well to being told this and became very hostile and angry. I have been a customer... More

We go to Largs regularly and often have coffee/cake here. Cakes are very nice and also available to buy/take home. Outside area is a nice addition but it can take some time to be served when sitting there. More toilets needed as there often a queue and too many inside tables are squashed together. Nevertheless, we will continue to visit... More

We visited on Mother's Day and waited a wee while for a table outside, to sit in a great location with our dog. All good so far. The menu looked ideal with the usual lunchtime favourites. We chose burgers, kids chicken nuggets and my wife chose bacon Brie and cranberry panini. The service was very slow, but it was a... More

We were a family group of 9 plus an infant. Dinner choices were restricted because it had been a lovely sunny day so very busy. Not many wine options but happily we prefer Prosecco and Pinot Grigio rose (but please get proper Prosecco, not frizzante). Overall a very nice dining experience and the food was excellent. Thank you.

My husband and I visited the Green Shutter for dinner today. We are regular visitors with our daughter and grandson and love the charm of the Restaurant and the friendly welcome of the staff nothing is too much trouble. We mainly have the coffee and cake but tonight decided to have dinner. We were not disappointed. The fish was by... More
