Lots of child friendly options. Great choices for adults. Quick service. A little walk from the main hotel although if wearing heels or raining you can get a lift over.

The picture next to the title doesn't do it justice, its a great space, warm and inviting the menu is more traditional than most of them around the venue

I completely understand that this is the club house for a world famous golf course and a fabulous five star hotel. However the prices are ridiculous for what is on offer. The food is good. But it's not £17 for a burger good, £22 for three small pieces of tandoori chicken good or £4 for a side of mushy peas... More

Decided at the last minute to eat here rather than the Gleneagles Hotel, we managed to get a table, food was good and adequate portions, but were we not offered a drinks menu or asked for drinks when we were seated, so we had no idea what was on offer, after the main course we had a very long wait... As a comparative local, lifelong visitor and admirer of Gleneagles I have eaten at the Dormy more times than I can remember. When I first visited, probably about fifteen years ago, it was a cute and cosy little eatery, a bit tatty but all the more lovely for it. In 2017 it is a big, corporate place, hundreds of people... We took my mother in law to the dormy for lunch as part of a gift. Both my self and my husband ordered items from the tandoori chicken and lamb in this case You can't imaging my surprise when the meal arrived my mother in law had ordered salmon which appeared to be a large portion of salmon with the... Had brunch, now £19, not including tea or coffee, it did include 1 piece of very crispy toast, no mushroom. Definitely not as good as previous visits

Fabulous fish and chips so much so we could not manage dessert! A drink around the fire is a welcome treat and the staff and manager gave superb service. Only downside is the side dishes are a crazy price and one side will easily be sufficient for 2 diners😁

Relax with friends while taking in the exquisite views of The King's and The Queen's courses: The Dormy is the perfect place for that well-earned drink after a long round. Our clubhouse gives a warm welcome to all: golfers and non-golfers alike. You can order comfort-food favourites such as fish and chips, mac'n'cheese, bangers'n'mash or something spicy from the tandoor oven in the main restaurant, which overlooks the 1st hole of The Queen's course.
