Reviewed yesterday NEW

popped in after reading reviews, nice and warm, filled to rafters no tables free, lots of groups of people mainly cyclists seem to be nursing one or two cups of drinks, tables piled high with uncollected crockery, no one tried to fit us in anywhere and generally not a friendly atmosphere. shame.

For chocoholics everywhere this must surely be the centre of the universe! You can ponder the range of chocolate available over a monster hot chocolate. Excellent not to be missed

Perfect day for a very yummy hot cocoa. Busy place for the tourist. They have a small selection of different chocolates to take with you as well.

Coffee and chocolate OK but no better than you can get in a good brand over the counter from any decent chocolate shop, but the prices are eye watering Given that the staff have all the personality of a dead badger it's not a place I'd rush to visit again. £6 for a mug of chocolate and 2 chocolates, or... Bought ginger and cocoa nib chicolate bars for taking home pressies, 4 bars £12! Three pieces of ginger per bar - won't be buying that again!

Visited after reading all of the reviews. It is part of a craft village that really could do with a makeover- could be great attraction! Back to the cafe - hot chocolate was tasty but 2 cups were £8. Prices for chocolates also pretty steep.

Stopped for lunch, Lonely Planet recommendation. The hot chocolate is seriously sickly, fine if you like very sweet hot chocolate. Sandwiches were very good. Located in a bizarre craft village.

We stopped at Balnakeil Craft Village on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews recommending the hot chocolate here. The hot chocolate itself was glorious, as were the chocolates. However, as both were expensive (approx £7 for hot choc and 2 small chocs) it was definitely a one off treat! We did buy a tin to take home for the kids to... More

If youre going through the northern highlands, stop off here for a delicious hot chocolate. The best deal was the tea and four chocolates for four pounds ninety five. Individual chocolates were delicious too! Also the wifi was free.

A happy place, where people come to relax and enjoy themselves - surrounded by stunning landscapes. We are a working artisan chocolatier, producing our completely unique range of truffles, chocolates, and chocolate shards, each day - in our cafe/shop and for our popular online store. In our cafe, we produce and serve our range of chocolates, we serve our famous 'best' Hot Chocolate, Mocha, coffees, teas, and...other treats. Walk inside and breathe in the aromas! We use the finest ingredients, often (as in our triple certified coffees), fair-trade and organic, but really, it's all about the taste - a little taste of heaven!
