Went in for some lunch before we headed back down the road and we weren't disappointed. The food was good, but we waited a while to get it. In the Bothy's defence, they place was rammed. I think the entire time we were in there, there was 2 free tables and two women to deal with everyone. The Bothy is... More

We stopped for lunch on a cold November day. The staff were friendly with quick efficient service. The food was very good. Would not hesitate to go back.

We came here to try authentic Scottish food. We thought the building was so lovely and cute. We ordered the haggis as an entree just to try. It was surprisingly delicious! I had the salmon with chips and it was good too. The staff were friendly and overall it was a good experience

Popped in for lunch on our way to the West. Ordered soup and a toastie. The only soup on offer was Scotch broth. It was disgusting, too thick, and grey, bits of carelessly chopped carrot and turnip and too much barley. We left it but were still charged. The waitress said sorry I will tell the chef, she was outside... More

Visited this restaurant on two occasions over our weekend stay, the food was very good and massive portions. The haggis starter was amazing !!!!! (a must try dish even if you've never had haggis). On our second visit my wife had the biggest salmon and prawn salad I've ever seen, some nice beers to be had also. The service and... More

We came here for a meal last week while we were staying at Wildside lodges in Whitebridge. I had steak and my husband had pie. Steak was cooked to perfection perfectly rare as I had asked for. Husband really enjoyed his pie. Husband had haggis for starter and he said was really good. He was determined to have some haggis... More

We were recently here during a family week at Loch Ness, the place looked great, a nice location and the weather was perfect, even our dog was allowed inside, so very helpful. However, perhaps my expectations were high after being taken in by its appearance, as the food was only average, which was a shame as I'd ordered the venison... More

Popped in for a couple of drinks. Nice wee pub but not much of a welcome. Was pretty quiet but dour chap didn't seem to be in a hurry to serve us. Ended up leaving after one drink. As a Highlander it was disappointing to think this is how we welcome visitors.

Went for a meal and left extremely disappointed ! Ordered home-made pie which was so salty that I can`t describe it and one of the chef`s specials which was super bland! I wouldn`t call myself a Chef offering this disastrous food. Worst meals we ever had !
