We stayed on the Applecross peninsula over the new year and went to the Applecross Inn a couple of times. The food was excellent, great fish and chips, fish pie and venison burger and a really welcoming atmosphere, also a really good selection of single malts. Although it's a long way from Devon we'll be back!

Called in to the applecross inn a couple of times this winter. The place is always buzzing with activity, staff are friendly and the food is superb and good value for money.

I love coming to The Applecross Inn. I've been coming here for years. The food is exceptional, the staff are fantastic and the location is one of the best in the world. Sitting in the sun taking in the views here is the best feeling in the world - any stress just melts away. Just go. You'll see what I... More

We visited twice here, 1 time for drinks only & 1 time for lunch. The food is very nice, I liked fish & the crab , my friend enjoyed his burger. staff were friendly, and although in some ways touristy not so much in winter to scare the locals away.... so a great time here. The only issue was my... More

This a terrific little pub tucked away in the far reaches of Wester Ross. Having already travelled to the Highlands from Bristol (600 miles), we decided to take the 4 hour round trip to the Applecross Inn, having read many great reviews in our cottages visitor book. We were not disappointed! The pub was small and cosy with a roaring... More

Called in on a miserable afternoon after driving over the Bealach na Ba pass, so glad we carried on to Applecross. We'd heard about the Inn but never managed to get to it over the last 7 years we'd stayed on Skye. this time we we're a "little" closer so made the decision to go. From the outside its just... More

Busy busy busy but no-one turned away. A great selection of craft gins and real ale non-alcoholic beer (Nanny State brew dog) The fish pie was the best I have ever had. The fish within was certainly quality and not the left over unusable bits as so often is the case. Salmon - smoked and hot smoked and fresh on... More

Been here twice before on a previous holiday about 6 years ago.The weather wasn't great for hill walking so decided to pop here for lunch. It is a beautiful drive if you get the weather and the pub is in a lovely spot. The ale was nice but was a little disappointed with the food. The seafood itself was nice enough but accompanied... A warm welcome, as ever, good beer, lovely food plus the wonderful views make this a great place to visit. This visit there was a local wedding with lots of kilts, plus a contingent of motorbikers arrived to liven things up.
