A great restaurant with superb seafood (and great soup as well). We eat here twice and had a great meal both times. The Loch Torridon langoustine scampi was especially good. Friendly service and good wine added to our enjoyment.

We eat in Shieldaig Bar and Coastal Kitchen whilst stopping at the hotel (having been let down by Kiessimul B&B) whilst doing the NC500. Great location/scenery and food was great - I had the Haggis Neeps and Tatties which were very tasty. I would recommend...More

One meal taken whilst passing through. It was very good but not exceptional. However, the setting was absolutely magnificent and the service and friendly staff commendable.

Decor in the bar was simple/basic, but there were tables in the upstairs restaurant that overlooked the sea. The food was excellent and the waitress service efficient. Enjoyed our stop off here and would recommend this to other travellers.

We shared a seafood platter which was huge & very tasty. The puddings were good as well. Restaurant is small & you need to book in advance

The day we came the restaurant wasnt full but the staff seemed very flustered. We had steak and the special seafood stew. Both were nice but not quite nice enough to warrant the hefty prices. The stew was enormous and could really have fed two...More

Called in on spec for lunch. It was a busy Sunday afternoon. We stood at the bar for a few minutes looking at the menu, asked if we could order there and were told yes. As we waited to be served (or seen) a lady...More

Excuse the delay, the owners have well behaved dogs, unsure if they allow guests dogs. Their friendly people so I'm sure they'd keep you right.
Is the bar accessible to disabled visitors and is there a disabled toilet?

There is a pub downstairs and I expect it's pen through the year, but we were there in July and so it's best to check direct on their website.
