So we that after a long Sunday walk we would skip cooking and just go have a nice meal.Well it couldn't have been further from the truth...it was a disaster!!! our starter was good but it... More

Stopped in for a late lunch on Easter Sunday. Crowded with many people enjoying their meals. The restaurant was offering a 3 course menu for £15 which included several choices of entrees. The chicken was good and a decent portion. I also enjoyed a pint of craft beer (Bitter and Twisted). We'll be back, possibly for breakfast. The view of... More

New booth bays help shut out background chatter of other diners. Lambs liver a bit overdone, but suspect that was because it was kept on a scorching hot plate before being served. Sweet onion sauce delicious! Could have done with a slightly larger portion of red cabbage. Friendly staff. Great outlook over the Marina, though the piles of timber were... More

Love this place, seafood is so fresh. The Cullen Skink is one to try. Easy parking and great views of the harbour. Staff are very attentive. One of my friends accidentally knocked over a glass and within seconds there was two staff at our table to help out. Steaks are superb, as was all the courses we ordered. Will definitely... More

Paid £23 for the lamb dish, one potato cut in to four some basil on top and a disgusting sauce that was gloopy and look as if it was straight out of a jar of homepride cooking sauce. My sister had the mussels which were tiny with a watery, milky sauce which had been over salted. The onion rings which... More

Lovely family meal, great food and stunning views across the marina and the bay. Good choice of food to suit all tastes and a drinks menu to match. The restaurant was very busy and we had a long wait for both starters and mains... almost an hour between courses... we didn't risk dessert as we might not have got our... More

If I lived in Ayrshire I would frequent this very smart venue. We had breakfast/ brunch today which was very nice. Salmon was unfortunately not available :( Service was good with plenty of staff which is a nice change generally in restaurants. Superb view of marina and lovely ambience within the three areas of the restaurant, bar and winter room.... More

What a difference the new decor has made! The experience is now lighter, more coastal and textured. Easter Monday brunch was lovely. Waiting service also much improved.

Once again went to Scotts right on the marina in Troon. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with aquariums on the walls, There is a window seating area that looks over the marina; stunning. Now for the food: the 3 times I have been there I have had the same thing: Langustines and lobster with salad; pure delight. I absolutely... More
