Why do people think that a land lady should roll out the red carpet? I come up to Troon from Yorkshire, often visit this pub and am always made welcome. No one is rude, no one challenges my footy team, me and my son like a pint or two here before going for dinner. Its just a normal pub..clean,decent beer,fair... More

Popped into pub for a quite pint and was met by what I can assume was the Land-Lady. I was asked what football team I supported. I was then informed that if I wasn't a "Rangers Fan I wasn't welcome!". Troon's pubs struggle for custom throughout the year, to be subjected to this policy which is sectarian driven is very... Popped into this pub on a visit to Troon and enjoyed the atmosphere. Like most pubs in Troon, it is geared up to watch sport on the tv and you will not be disappointed with the number of screens available. Its a older pub with lots of character, well stocked bar, efficient, friendly service. Just went for a quick drink,... More

Called in for a couple of drinks after having lunch next door. Was reasonably quiet as it was the middle of the afternoon. Good selection of lagers and beers and I was delighted to see a good selection of Malt Whisky. Worth a visit just to admire the decor. Only complaint I had was the lack of staff - only... More

Lots of big-screen TVs to watch the sports events. A large selection of beers, and advertise "Ice cold American Beers". Fun, young groups of Scots.

We struggled to find a decent pub in Troon...either the selection of lager wasn't great or they had no lager at all....however, we stumbled across MacIntyres and it saved the day. It's just a little place, with great décor and music. We were there quite early so it was empty, but we were reliably informed that it gets quite lively... More

What a pub. Unique, well designed and such a pleasure that it wasnt the usual boring big chain type place. Wonderful. A real gem.

MacIntyres Pub and Restaurant in the middle of Troon proper is a wonderfully big and loud and extremely colorful pub. But, it's good and friendly and inexpensive. And I would recommend anyone who is in Troon on a budget to go to MacIntyres Pub for both its food and its bar prices. You can't miss it as it has the... More
