Food out of this world and the Breakfast was fantastic not a bit grease in sight, beautifully presented, Staff very Pleasant, Our only complaint would be there was no heating apart from the log burner in the dining room, but apart from that fantastic experience and would defo reccomend. would love to try their bar lunches.

We had a very good dinner here - a vegetarian platter followed by haddock and chips. The service was very good.

I came here on a busy Saturday evening for dinner and couldn't have been happier with my choice of restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly and the food was excellent. We had a tasteful pea and garlic soup to start; and fish & chips and burger and chips for mains. Both dishes were outstanding, probably the best burger and... More

As a birthday treat instead of presents, I opted to go back to the Inn at Kippen for a family meal having enjoyed an evening meal there last October. The table was duly booked and I would say that booking is to be advised. The menu is wide and varied and caters for a variety of tastes. As is the... More

This wee hide away has escaped our presence for long enough and through friends constantly told us to go here. Well, we took their advice and went on Sunday evening. Welcomed in by polite staff and the warm surroundings of the log fire were a nice and relaxing touch. Starters and mains ordered I went for the Braised Ox cheek... More

From the warm welcome of open fires to the wonderful staff to the delicious food with a twist - this somewhat remote Inn was more than one could expect. The four of us all ordered different starters and mains from the menu with no disappointments. The beginning highlight was mussels cooked with chilli - imagine how good mopping up the... More

Invited by family, who visit often, to have dinner with them on Christmas Eve. Was a bit out of the way but well worth the trip. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar. Mostly locals but we were made very welcome. The meal itself was not limited to only a festive menu, and the choice was varied.... More

Great service but food was disappointing. Hubby had a beef starter which he really enjoyed. I had a burger, probably the worst tasting burger I've ever had. Asked for bacon on it and got a lump of fat, not like any bacon I've ever seen before. To top it off there was hair in my chips. I ate a quarter... More

The Inn at Kippen always offers an interesting and tasty menu. The food is presented well and served by enthusiastic staff. We regularly take friends and family to both lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. This is excellent relaxed dining in traditional Inn/pub setting. I would highly recommend a visit.

Our room was very small and didn't have a closet. We were directly above the bar and our window looked out over the patio/smoking area. We were booked there for 6 nights, Wednesday to Tuesday, but checked out after 4. The bar was supposed to close at 11:00 but did not. The dinner we had there on the first night... More
