For us this was one of the best places we visited during our week on Skye. Excellent food using local produce, carefully prepared and well presented. It is also very good value for money. The place is small and gets busy so plan your visit to avoid peak times.

Popped in here for coffee and cakes, really lovely and genuinely home made, tasted amazing. We had home made scones with home made rhubarb and ginger jam. Carrot cake was delicious.

My husband and I were on Skye in the Glendale area during August and September 2016. We were out riding around one day in the Dunvegan area with a friend of ours and started looking for somewhere for lunch. Most places were closed, as it was a Sunday. We spied this restaurant and I was very hesitant to try it... More

We stumbled upon this cafe on our way back to the campsite. We were very impressed with the menu. I had the mussels and he had the venison stew. Both of which were fresh, tasty and well presented. Glad we found it. The lady who runs it was very friendly too.

OK, it's a petrol station AND a small cafe! Good spot for lunch--soups, sandwiches, salads. Simple but welcoming. Farm to the table, even at a petrol station! Cute place! Oh, and the petrol station and cafe are for sale!

Stopped in 15 minutes to closing on a cycling trip. Very friendly greeting. Had the vegetable lasagna. Superb. Needed to get back to the b&b we were staying in before dark, so we took cheese cake to go. It was very much like a mouse. Wonderful.

We ate here on arrival in Dunvegan having been turned away by Dunvegan Hotel (just after 8pm), this place was serving until 8.30pm. We were met with a decidedly cool reception. Good seafood chowder is available for less than half the price elsewhere on the island, & with more generous portions!

This cafe was recommended to us by our b and b owner, so we decided to try it. We were surprised to find the food was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent.

We visited here twice during our week in Skye. The cafe is situated in Dunvegan at a petrol station, it doesn't look anything from the outside but it's a nice cafe inside. Our first visit we had a nice warm welcome, our second visit was less so (different staff). Likewise service and food was also nicer on our first visit.... More
