It is not often to be able to use one's cabriolet convertible car, in the middle of February, in our neck of the woods ... but it was like a cool summer's day on the 17th, so the car was unwrapped, and my wife, our eighteen year old grand-daughter and I repaired to Peel Farm for lunch and a nose... Good service, good lunch menu selection of sandwiches, paninis, toasters and platters. Always has lovely soups and good cakes. Would recommend.

Have been here to eat now over six times, we take our visitors every time they come to see us. The food is lovely, menu is varied and would suit families with children

Loosen your belt and enjoy the homebaked cakes and scones. Varied menu of light lunch type food, all well cooked. Take your time for a rummage round the shop, you will probably be tempted.

Very interesting artifacts in the craftshop, the building is very nice and cottage-like and it is a welcoming place to have coffee and buns or soup. Somewhere you can escape in comfort with family or friends or on your own.

Great little place for that lunch when you want to go somewhere different. Its in a beautiful location and stunning all year round. The menu is good and they have specials on every day and they are not your run of the mill menu items offered by so many coffee shops of this size. Once you've had lunch and a... More

Visiting the Peel is quite a different experience from the norm for it has a 'down to earth' eatery and a shopping area with articles which are quite exclusive and attractive but not cheap. Home baking is always on offer and the helpful friendly staff always turns a 'visit' into an occasion. An absolute MUST,

Staff very friendly and welcoming. I had the cold pie platter and it was delicious as was the cake that I had afterwards and good value for money. Nice setting and staff did not make you feel rushed which was good because we stayed for ages blethering. Shop also very nice, lovely things but a bit expensive for me.

We have been using Peel Farm for ages and the reason we go - is the staff. Peel Farm is just one of the restaurant/cafes we frequent but it's our number 1 simply because of the warm welcome we receive. Well done to everyone, wouldn't single anyone out - they are all our favourites!

The restaurant serves wonderful food from cakes to main meals. The menu is not extensive which means they can concentrate on quality. Good ratio of meal to salad. Well stuffed sandwiches. A selection of jams, sweets and teas for sale in the restaurant. In the winter there is a lovely roaring log stove that keeps the chills at bay. After... More
