No real ale on - and it's in the Good Beer Dundee 2017?!?!. Steak and Ale pie was very good but the burger a bit unusual.

Hello Rob, Thanks for your feedback. Please can you email at enq@cairndowinn.com to let me know when you were in? We do usually have at this time of the year 1 ale on at all times and 2 in the summer. And if you could let me know what it was about the burger that you thought was unusual? Kind... More

A fantastic little hotel / restaurant / bar situated near Loch Fyne. Rooms were spacious, bathroom amazing, and the food and ales were absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recommend and return to when next in the area. Only minor issue I had was that the shower door in room 2a didn't quite close properly, but the double sized jacuzzi bath was... More

This hotel is in a very quiet village. We enjoyed our stay. The food was great. We also had a meal in our room.

Fantastic meal. It was hard to choose because the menu had a great selection. Had the venison and it was the best I have eaten. The Creme Brûlée was perfectly prepared. Excellent service and a reasonable price.

We had originally hoped to stay here as well as eat, but unfortunately confusion over the booking meant this was not possible. However we were able to find a B&B within walking distance and there was availability in the restaurant. Very good service and delicious starters and main courses meant the two of us had a very enjoyable evening at... More

Every Wednesday since the start of this year we have sought out pubs with character serving good food. The stagecoach inn is one of the nicest we have visited in the West of Scotland. The steak pie was excellent made with short crust pastry, lovely chunks of tender beef in a delightful gravy. We saw other diners having soup, sandwiches... More
