Stopped here on our way home after a lovely drive in the area. Ordered coffee and cake. Coconut and raspberry cake was delicious and very fresh. Staff were friendly and made it a pleasant experience. Will definitely go back.

I ate the veggie crunchy soup and the argyll salad with smoked cheese. Bot dishes were amazing and very tasty. My boyfriend took the traditional steak with pie and he comment me... More

The burgers were lovely, I opted for the blue cheese burger but it was a bit strong for my liking although I ate most of it! Very reasonable prices, also tough... More

I stopped here on a long drive, having eaten here before. We opted for a main meal as a late lunch. The selection was acceptable rather than exciting, the portions were generous for haddock and chips and the taste was OK. The place was clean and quiet if quite basic. Service was rather slow and you had to ring the... More

Sometimes for lunch you just want something to fill you up and this café was adequate for this on a day when we were visiting the area to do a bit of sightseeing. The waitresses were really nice and apologetic about the fact that we had to wait so long for the food to be served. This was due to... More

We turned up one morning at just after 10am. Despite the sign announcing 'open 9.00am' & staff clearly inside, the doors remained locked shut. Despite attracting attention it took a short while to gain entry. It appears recent staff cuts are a problem for this café, as a result, the take away section 'The Pitstop Takeaway' remained closed even as... More
