A nice enough cafe. Friendly staff. Very busy! A bit cramped for space. Expensive. But the portions are huge!!!!! And the food was lovely too. Would recommend.

Great food especially their wonderful homemade soups served piping hot with crusty bread. Tasty food from sandwiches to meals. Tea served in beautiful Scottish china. Service quick and friendly. Plenty seating accommodation both inside and out. Lovely experience being there.

Big portions but looked nicer than tasted. Menu extensive promises variety of tastes but disappointing and weak coffee. Clean and staff pleasant but just ordinary experience for top prices.

Stopped by this place after seeing it on Happy Cow, my mother won’t stop talking about how good the lentil (with ham) soup was! I had a tasty carrot and parsnip soup (vegan) with a chunk of bread that could be used to prop doors...More

Description
Contemporary, quirky Scottish coffee shop set in the picturesque village of Luss, on the banks of Loch Lomond. Serving a wide range of coffees, teas, home baking and food from 10am to 5pm, 364 days per year. Lunch is served all day as we know many of our customers are travelling. A selection of our fabulous home made 'main meal soups' are always on offer with a hunk of locally baked bread. Stokies (large soft bread rolls) are filled with our own prepared fillings such as honey roast ham with redcurrant jelly. For something more substantial try our Quiche and coleslaw prepared from scratch on the premises, Salmon and Prawns, Haggis and Clapshot or Ciabatta breads prepared like pizzas. Our gift shop is filled with quirky Scottish sourced items !!
