Always visit this cafe when in Stranraer. Take away menu is varied, reasonably priced, and in my opinion, the best chips in Stranraer. Always fairly busy.

Superb Fish, King Rib and Chips with large portions! Located close to the water front with space to park to pick up your takeaway, perfect for an evening supper on a summers day - take your supper around the corner and park in the great big car park by the harbour - perfect!

I appreciate its a chippy and you expect greasiness but this was way over the top. We had fish suppers and a single haggis to takeaway. The fish was bland and the batter dripping in grease, the chips were pale and undercooked. The haggis wasn't the best-even our dog turned his nose up at it. We'd chosen to go here... More

They have good fish and chips takeaways. A single fish each with a small portion of chips between 2 was more than ample to sit with on a seat by the castle.
