Wow, truly impressed with this place.
This is a unique fine dining establishment. I love the theme that you can order a flight of anything here for tasting, drinks, salads, entrees, dessert, you name it. Such a good idea. But, while the idea is good,...it's difficult to pull off in a fine dining way. But they're doing it!
The menu is very large and the entrees are set up by Land, Sea, Air, etc. for protein. So think land: Bison, Beef, Venison. Sea: Scallops, Shrimp, Fresh Fish. Air: Quail, Chicken, etc. etc. You get the point.
We did a salad flight with a wedge, a seasonal salad, and an acorn squash salad with a pecan-encrusted feta ball that melted into the soft and warm acorn squash. YUM. All three were good and the wedge is my fav but the squash was the star of the show.
The menu allows you to choose a pre-set entree flight or you can mix and match any of their options. Entrees are split into smaller plates for around $12-17 or large, full-size entrees which you can order if you see something you want and don't want a flight. This alleviates everyone's FOMO bc you can mix and get whatever you want.
We chose the Veal - with sautéed veggies and cheese pasta; the Borson-stuffed Filet with mashed potato, and a mushroom ravioli. There is an entire vegetarian flight with a puff pastry, mushroom ravioli and a potato cake that isn't listed but servers will tell you all about when asked.
My husband did a bourbon flight - his fav whiskey.
Dessert was difficult for me. Everything sounded good and I'm sure it all is. We had fresh coffee with cream, yum. In the end, I did a mix and match of three and had the Memphis Mud Pie (chocolate pecan), the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, and the Peanut Shop Brownie. All three were incredible.
Valet is free and the waitstaff will happily call your car for you when you pay your tab so it will be ready for you. Our server was excellent and the pace and taste and every part of the meal was wonderful.
Classy ambiance inside - a lively bar area downstairs. We sat in the upstairs loft area which was more quiet and romantic.
If I ever find myself around here again - this is a must do.More
