Lots of history and a fun atmosphere - but the food is average at best. Eggs were cold, grits were lukewarm and fruit salad used canned blueberries. Waitresses were super helpful, but overall a tourist trap more than anything.

The hostess took our name. We waited 20 minutes for our table. We sat down. The first thing our waitress told was the fryer was broken. Nothing fried was available. We had heard their chicken fried steak was good. It seemed the only options was...More

First came to the Arcade 25 years ago when “Brains” were still on the menu. Somehow it felt more funky and the food tasted better then. Maybe it had something to do with Jim Jarmusch and the aura of hipness hanging over the place. This...More

Great authentic restaurant where we’ve been for lunch before but today had breakfast which was just fabulous. Really welcoming staff, good food and a good price. Even toilets are old style and there’s free parking to rear. I really think this is a Must see...More

This was our first trip to Memphis. Of course we had to sit in the ELVIS booth. So exciting. 😍 would definitely recommend if anyone is visiting the Graceland area.

I came here for brunch on a Saturday. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that any restaurant should be embarrassed to serve a paying customer. As other comments have said, the wait was long, and I was served a piece of toast with not even melted...More

We went here seeking excellent biscuits and gravy (an odd favorite of my wife.) They were good. All the food was “good”, although hardly amazing. It is, after all, just a diner. Quaint, old-fashioned diner feel. I checked average wait times on Google so we...More

Stopped on our way out of town. It was worth the stop. Good old fashion diner, just watch your footing on the slippery old floors. Very charming. French toast was crisp and delicious. I tried the sweet potato pancakes w/ blueberries. They were delicious. You...More

A 30 minute wait around 11:30 on a Saturday - worth it! Old school diner, oldest restaurant in Memphis. Great food (Arcade Burger and Sweet Potato Pancakes), great service, great fun. Large portions, reasonable prices.

We are not big fans of sweet potatoes but my husband decided to try the sweet potato pancakes as recommended by the waitress. They were surprisingly delicious! I had an omelet that was great. Huge portions of food. We can eat a lot but neither...More

There's a fair number of items that are dairy free, and they were happy to accommodate my dairy allergy by omitting the cheese! Enjoy!

Parking is on the street. It's not a high traffic area. I've never had to walk far.

As I recall the prices were on the moderate side. Probably under $10 each for a breakfast.
