We couldn't wait to try out the burgers and we weren't disappointed. It was deep fried so be prepared for a little grease. We sat where we were able to watch the cooks. They were a treat!! Great server, very attentive. After we spent some time on Beale St we stopped back by and got a fried PB&J to take... More

I am a beautiful white woman and me and my friends were racially segregated and this place. The "bouncer" told us there was a 30 minute wait even though there was 5 tables open. When 20 minutes later we finally walked away he let the people behind us in. No 30 minute wait. The "bouncer " at this place is... More

Upon entering choose seating at the bar to see the cooks in action, since seating is open. Hubby and I shared a soda jerk float with an extra cup of Cola. We also tried two of the Deep Fried Twinkies. Watching the cooks make those burgers was quite entertaining!

Dyer's is a very good burger. Be prepared, it is a deep fried delight. This is good food that is not light eating so go hungry. They have good burgers and fries in a 50s style cafe setting. They have a couple taps but I would still say it's a family friendly environment. They also have deep fried desserts which... More

We waddled in here while walking around Memphis. We were not prepared for everything being fried, even the burgers. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders and fries, which two people could share (4 pieces of large chicken), my husband went for the double cheeseburger, fries, and a chocolate malt. I had a basket of fries (vegetarian). For people who don't... More

I am a sucker for good interior design. If you are going to sell American Burgers this decor says just that. It was a tasty burger, but the recycled grease thing got me at first. Also, sodas and shakes are a good bet here as well. I would say that it is a good people watching spot, but you are... More
