We heard they had the best juke box and burgers in town so we just had to find out for ourselves. It's a DIVE with the best burgers and ice cold beer. Stop in and check it out if you are in town!

If you are looking for candle lit tables and a china plate - go elsewhere. If you can handle, or even seek out those places whose very floor boards hum along to the juke - you have found you new home. This place is dive bar at it's BEST! and yes - the Soul Burger ROCKS. It was hands down... More

This place is by far the king of dive bars!!! It has the best jukebox, the beer is ice cold and the burgers are great. A true hole in the wall, but one that I will. be back too!

We were a bit confused about the rustic bar up up front and the nicer bar/restaurant in back. But we thoroughly enjoyed a quick drink and awesome Bacon Mac & Cheese Rolls appetizer. Somewhat disappointed we get the "ghost story" talked about on Google and didn't have dinner... but it was certainly worth the short visit.

Best dive I have been into for awhile. Gentlemen behind the bar were cool and cooked a perfect soul burger. If you want to avoid crowds and soak in some history this is the place. Bring singles for the jukebox!

I went there for dinner while in training at about 7:00 PM on a Tuesday night and was 1 of 3 people in the bar. Walking up I wasn't sure if the place was even still there as the front looked very decrepit. Very dark inside and beat up. I was served quickly and when asked about the history about... More

This is a great bar. Good music, friendly staff. After midnight is the best time, a bit slow, time to linger over a cold beer and a hot hamburger.

So we did. Memphis is a very old town and they embrace it. This place reeks of history. MANY movies have been filmed here and you will recognize parts of the place. We saw it late at night FULL of people and then we had lunch there the next day and got the scoop from Clarence the bartender. Very cool... More

A must experience while in Memphis! This is an amazing 2 story historical based local joint (former brothel). It comes with all the history of its time. I got this feeling like I time travelled upon entering. They provide a great assortment of some of best local and international beers - I had a Red Stripe beer- the Jamaican lager... More
