We had a great visit to the Blues City Cafe. Food was excellent and the music was all Blue. This was exactly what we were looking for during our trip to Memphis.

We stumbled into this cafe after a day on Beale Street. It was known for having the "Best Ribs", so we had to try it. The ribs were a 7 out of 10. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere had a very local feel...More

Between the four of us we had sirloin steak, ribs, catfish, tamales and the meat & cheese platter. The platter was awesome as was the catfish. The ribs were just ok - luke warm and not much flavor. Server worked her behind off!

We had the combo with ribs and catfish and it was cooked to perfection! We sat in the area adjacent to the band and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. Our waitress, Rachel, was attentive and precious.
