Enjoyed the food. Staff were friendly. Great prices. I would not take young kids after 8 p.m. Park lot needs more lighting.

This is a less than stellar Mexican restaurant. They took the town by storm about 6-8 years ago opening 3-4 locations in a short span. I believe this downtown location is the last man standing. If you MUST go, go for lunch. It has generally be deserted when we have happened in. It can get extremely crowded at nights. I... More

The vegetarian fajitas without sour cream and shredded cheese was the only real vegan choice of interest and it good but not great.

Our company of six went there to eat diner and I was appalled at the poor service and bad attitudes of the employees. Maybe the size of our party was shocking, but I expected more from a downtown eatery.

We have visited at both locations and both are very good.. The south second street location has street parking and more across on a dirt lot. Seems to have several more dining areas at each end of the building with a patio on the north end. An extensive menu. The do have a Pick two or three from about 8... More

As soon as you walk in and sit you are served hot nachos with a perfectly spiced salsa. It on its own is enough to be considered a meal. I had the appetizer of wings but they must have been from a steroid chicken because they were huge! We ate 1/4 of the food we got not because it was... More

Modela Especial on draft and it comes in a 32 oz mug. Warm basket of chips and a very serviceable salsa (enough kick to not be considered lame). Have your ID ready, no ID no alcohol. We sat at the bar and found a colorful setting with had painted chairs and wall murals. The bar area also has plenty of... More

It's not the best Mexican food I've ever eaten but it's not the worst either. The atmosphere is good - everything is brightly painted and clean. The service was good although I've read that service struggles on occasion. We are Mexican food addicts and after a couple days of eating even the best barbecue in the world, we were ready... More

Good, cheap Mexican food- exactly what I want for Mexican food (not that overpriced, miniature food served in other spots downtown). HOWEVER, I don't want to go back (nor will I be taking out of town friends and family) because I don't feel safe there. I can get into the noisiness and Hip/Hop music playing, but when there's a policeman... More

Lunch portions are huge so be aware! I had the Choripollo and it was enough to feed 2. Good chips, but fresh salsa that is not like most Mexican restaurants. Chunky and if you don't like cilantro you had better skip the salsa. Great atmosphere and have never had to wait. Great flour tortillas and service was super.

Thank Roitz
