It's a small dive type diner. You will experience some smoke from the kitchen which we didn't mind. The chicken and waffles, OMG, soo good! Large fluffy waffle, real southern fried chicken with perfectly seasoned batter. The bologna sandwich was a large slice of bologna...More

Stopped for a snack and a drink. The place is very much like stepping into someone's house, complete with screen porch door. There's not a full bar but beer did the trick and the decor is kinda dingy (like much of Beale St) but with...More

Enjoyed a mid afternoon lunch here. We had pulled chicken sandwich and a fried green tomato BLT. Both were great. Fast friendly service and a great location right on Beale Street. You can’t go wrong.

Had some catfish with fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. The food was good and the atmosphere was interesting. Don't believe that I would return here again as the food was too Spivey for my wife.

Best chicken and waffle ever! Great food and service! Food is cooked when ordered, so it’s always fresh! Love this place!

I had breakfast here. I tried the house special BBQ omlet. Great flavor and cooked correctly. The potatoes were ok. Prices are reasonable. They do not have decaf tea which suprised me. The only card they take is Visa or cash of course.

This was a great disappointment. Seemed most of the morning customers were getting Mimosa or Bloody Mary's and therefore didn't taste the food. We had coffee and breakfast. Very small portion, a long wait, cold food and not very tasty. We will not go again.

In the heart of Beale St., Miss Polly’s has the opportunity to be something special. Yet during my visit it was anything but that. Fried chicken, waffle and white beans/ham. Fried chicken was average and the waffle was cold and just so so. Service was...More

I agree with the previous answer. This is old time southern soul food. It's not for the health conscience or limited ingredient eater. That doesn't mean you cannot find something to enjoy on the menu, but you won't be... More
