Nearly always pop in here 4 a coffee or bite 2 eat on route 2 and from holidays. On Bank Hol Mon we only had coffees and a milkshake, good coffee if a little 2 strong 4 my liking. Good service and dog friendly which is a bonus.

The staff were helpful, unobtrusive and welcoming. We contacted the tea rooms to ask if we could use them as a mini-office to hold a team meeting mid-way between all of our offices. They made sure we had a table to work on, provided tea and coffee during the morning and afternoon, and laid a nearby table for our lunch... More

A surprise awaits those who may travel through Llandovery and call at this tea shop. We only had time for coffee and cake but it was excellent. Menu looks good value and food we saw being served to others looked scummy. Look forward to return with a little more time.

My partner and I were passing through Llandovery around lunchtime so decided to find a place to eat. Penygawse caught our eye. We like to eat gluten free and so we were both really thrilled to see several really tasty gluten free options. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were incredibly efficient and friendly. The cakes, also some... More

Great breakfast in here. Very helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely eat here again. Lots of these little cafes to choose from but this is one of the best.

The best coffe I have had in this country outside of Venice. They use Nairobi Coffee Company beans here. Why ? Because the owners are fully trained passionate barristas. They could follow the rest of the sheep by serving the usual poor commercial coffee.... But they choose to offer and serve the very best. If you are a true coffee... More

What a lovely place to take some time out...lovingly restored tearoom/ cafe serving great food and cakes. We chose toasted teacake, bara brith and coffees...absolutely superb in lovely comfortable surroundings, and with superb, friendly service. We were there at wrong time of day for breakfasts but would certainly want to give them a try next time we're there. A lovely... More

Was just ok. Feel it's half hearted now to how it used to be. Waitress was a bit off maybe tired as it was end of the day. Cheese and bacon roll but not much bacon. Prob won't go back as there is other places in town
