5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

We went yesterday for our date night and we weren't disappointed. It was a little quiet as it was a Thursday but the ambience was perfect and romantic. The meals were really good portion sizes and cost about £16-£20 for a main meal. Worth it when you see how large they were! We couldn't manage our usual dessert. The meals... More

Nothing changed over the last few visits , good menu , excellent food , good value for money and very attentive staff without being over the top .Nice to find somewhere that is so consistent . Well worthwhile travelling 20 odd miles .

Had lunch here in November 2016. My husband and I are obsessive lunchers and will only frequent really good places that are worth the trip, as we live high in the Welsh hills and never go out in the evening. Aberaeron is a 3 hour round trip, but we go to one place that is a 5 hour round trip.... More

Damn good service. Friendly staff. Really nice food. It was a pretty busy evening, but we weren't kept waiting at all.

We were taken to the restaurant whilst visiting friends in the town. Thay said it was good. Boy, was that an understatement! The welcome was warm, the food beyond excellent and totally delicious and the waitress a dream. Between us, following starters, we had chicken supreme x 2, sea bass and steak. All our food was well prepared, beautifully presented... More

Staying in the area on a weekend break, and wondered where to eat on the Saturday evening. We viewed an advertisement in a local guide for 'The Cellar' not having booked we were accommodated, and were blown away by the standard of food and service. One doesn't mind paying a little extra for such an experience.

My daughter and I were in Aberaeron on Sunday and called into the Cellar - even though we had not booked they made room for us and we had an excellent meal with good service from the friendly and efficient staff. We have already booked for early December when the family are visiting again.
