My friends and I stumbled across this lovely tea shop in Harlech. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and agreed that the service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and incredibly accommodating, quickly moving tables to enable our group to sit together with plenty of space. We enjoyed a selection of lovely teas (generous amount and... More

We visited Harlech on Christmas Eve and popped in to Cemlyn Tea Shop for 'tea and cake'. What a wonderful service - our 2 dogs were welcome and the owner (who we discovered originally came from the same town as us in Bedfordshire!) was delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and we all enjoyed delicious cakes (even a gluten and... More

We recently visited on a weekend away. We found this tea shop and popped in for a hot chocolate on a cold December day - wow the hot ciok was delicious! After a walk across the dunes to the beach and around the castle, which was also very nice, we returned for a late lunch. The food was delicious, bean... More

A relaxed formal contemporary experience at Cemlyn tearooms, one of those places where you find yourself in the heart of Harlech. Lovely surroundings, perfect position, with sensational panoramic views to die for. (Perhaps even the best in Wales in my opinion and relaxed). There is a sun terrace where the waitress, with such warmth and personal attention (from every member... More

Very Friendly tea shop, a proper pot of tea (loose leaf) had soup and ham butty, the soup and bread/ham was beautiful. Plus amazing views, unfortunately part blocked by a huge castle!

My wife and I popped in for a quick lunch and a coffee. The food, jacket potato with smoked salmon for my wife and welsh rarebit for me, was so so. The range and quality of hot drinks however, was superb. We will be back to sample more of the teas many times I'm sure. All of the staff we... More

Large family group with diverse requirements sorted without fuss on a supper terrace. Seemed expensive when I picked up the bill .

Went for lunch after a walk with friends. They accommodated our large group easily. Service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Huge selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee. Couldn't resist the Welsh Rarebit, made with their home made bread and it was delicious. We enjoyed it so much we returned later for tea and cake and had a lovely chat... More
