Went in for Saturday lunch whilst passing through. Placed order only to be told after waiting thirty minutes that one of the items was not available. We were given the opportunity to order something else but based on how long we had already waited, opted for a refund instead. Didn't seem bothered about it, gave us our money and that... More

Called in for a Friday night drink around 10:30pm. Place had barely anyone in. Service at the bar was not welcoming and was very slow. £9.90 for 2 glasses of Prosecco! Then at 10:45pm last orders were called and at 11:00pm we were asked to leave! Be a long time before we return. There's the new Estero Lounge at the... More

The venue is fine and has very good outside seating area also which is a bonus . The service is poor being understaffed . The bar area is very small so a regular line of waiting customers occur. I had a dry white wine which without fail was the worst I have ever tasted and left it . I couldn’t... More

on the first evening we arrived just before 21h00 to be advised that we were too late for dinner. The next night we got there in time and all three of us ordered steaks. Shame the kitchen had not already closed as they arrived and we struggled to eat the steak. It was very chewy and we left about half... More

We went as a family group hoping for a relaxing Sunday after a family wedding, but to the disappointment of some there was no roast on the menu at all. The second rating point was deducted because the girl who met us at the door very abruptly told us there was no room as we didn't have a booking. A... More

We stopped here for lunch whilst in Monmouth last week. Lots of choice on the menu. I chose the sourdough bread topped with avocado, bacon and poached egg. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly especially Lucy (think that was her name). The only downside was the meal took a long time but as it was freshly cooked, it... More

It was a nice enough place in a great location; that's where the pro's end - the rooms were extremely hot and dusty, poorly equipped with the cheapest toilet paper you can imagine and no proper coffee, only decaf. The breakfast in the morning was so bad - not what you would expect for £70 per night - i've had... More
