This is a regular venue for us when visiting the area. On this occasion we went for dinner twice and lunch once. Very friendly and I still as other reviews have noted. A very decent fixed price menu and all the portions are huge. We loved the sharing Fishermans Platter. The staff were friendly and service good. Excellent quality of... More

We ate here as it's the associated restaurant to Llety Brynawel – the guest house owned by the same owners, Glyn and Corina. To be honest, I found it confusing having looked on here and seen different properties with different names (this is also called Riverside, and the guesthouse used to be called The Escape). No need for confusion – the... More

This place had been recommended to us so we booked a table in advance for Sunday lunch,on the way to Aberdovey where we were staying for a couple of nights. What a good choice this turned out to be....there was a lovely atmosphere in the place and the service was top notch. We both had excellent starters and then the... More

We were on our way to Fishguard and wanted to stop mid way to stretch our legs, including our little puppy. After our walk we asked if we could take Pixie into the pub/restaurant and they said that was fine. We found a table that we were happy with (but not the best in house) and ordered food and drink.... Then were we asked to sit in the waiting area just inside the door.. The drinks were brought to us ,It wasn't very long to wait and... More

What a gem of a find! This pub does not look like a pub when passing so could easily be missed. A sign outside would catch passing trade. Wonderful food which cannot be faulted or improved - 10/10. Friendly service in a beautiful quiet location. Went yesterday and going back today. Pics are of surf n turf, welsh rarebit with... More

Stopped in for a late lunch with our family of 7! Only served food till 2pm but managed to just make it, portion size is very good value for money and food is excellent! Really lovely interior and beer garden is gorgeous on a sunny day (on which we visited). Highly recommend!

Well this is a little gem in a beautiful village. The young chap serving behind the bar is so welcoming and well mannered. The food is absolutely delicious, perfectly presented and a good portion. Booking is recommended as it gets very busy. Will be back for sure....

Everyone in the party loved the meal. Friendly staff, great food, comfortable surroundings - ticked all the boxes for me. Worth booking as it does fill up, and they were happy to swap vegetables etc when asked. The lamb was cooked really well and plenty of dauphinois with it.
