Recently had Sunday lunch here with 2 companions and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We all ate different meals but all agreed this was one of the best lunches we'd had in ages. For the price (£10.95 for 1 course, £13.95 for 2, £16.95 for 3 (if you have enough room!) we thought it excellent value. Friendly staff also helps. Beautiful... More

A lovely unexpected find in Machynlleth. A little confusing at first as there are two restaurant sections but once we had found the pizzeria we weren't disappointed. Lovely pizza, great flavour and good service. Thanks!

Visited with 4 children and my parents, Tuesday night. First Time we'd been...advised to book even though pub was quiet. Restaurant was busy on arrival, got busier as night progressed. Understood why when food delivered, beautiful bruschetta to start, pizza hand made in front on kids, packed full of toppings and flavour. Kids/smaller pizzas available at £2 less than price... More

Only been to the Wynnstay Pizzaria & the pizza was delicious! Waiting staff were friendly but could do with concentrating a little bit more.

I visit the Wynnstay frequently, both for business meetings and for social occaisions. The food is always good and the service calm and efficient. Only one gripe is that the loos are not particularly easy to find.

We actually went to the Wynnstay's pizzeria, hidden behind the hotel. Lovely pizza - we had a Hawaiian each and we watched the pastry being thrown about by someone who obviously knew what he was doing. The finished items were rather big but with a base that pleasantly light it was no bother to eat every last, delicious morsel of... More

Visited with family a couple of weeks back, on a quiet Tuesday evening around 6pm. Told we could not eat as they were fully booked, yet we spotted only one table taken. We could see a couple of others 'reserved' to be fair, but most definitely not all of them. The waitress, who was apparently the manager, informed us that... More

This place used to be good for Food in early 2014 but been back twice since and poor. Called in with my very elderly parents who have mobility issues at 17.35 on a July 15 Sunday. I checked first before getting out of the car that they were serving drinks and there were people in the bar and foyer drinking... More

The 3 different types of bread that came as a complimentary were lovely. The staff were very good and friendly. The lunch menu appetising the actual lunch slightly disappointing, I think I caught them on an off day, so do not want to be too critical. But I could forgive them anything for that bread.

I visited this hotel last night 8th July for a evening meal. I began with fish soup. The size of the soup bowl was so small a large boiled duck egg would have filled it!! After 5 or 6 soup spoons my bowl was empty. For my main meal I selected grilled mackerel, when it came there were two mackerel... More
