Popular restaurant with lively atmosphere Friday night. I did not feel too alone for a solo visit. Nice glass of house red then ordered the steak. Good size portions and more chips and sides than I could eat. No room for starters or pudding. Slightly limited menu as a couple of options had tun out. Generally good food if not... More

Our first trip back in at least 8 years, the Corn Store is still as bustling and great value as ever. A great selection of common and not so common bistro-style dishes (the vegetarian options seem pretty good) at very reasonable prices. The staff are all attentive and efficient despite the place being packed out on both the occasions we... More

We were passing through Welshpool on Sunday lunchtime and by chance found this lovely restaurant. We had not booked but they found us a place and despite being busy ( a large party in the upstairs room) we were served very quickly by a very helpful waitress. My husband had the Leek and Caerphilly soup which he said was delicious... More

We booked for a Sunday lunch time for 30 of us. I can not praise the staff and food enough. Even though it was such a large party, everything was bought out at the same time, and the food was delicious. I could not recommend this restaurant enough.

Been here twice now and good both times. Freshly home cooked, large portions .Even a jacket potato was huge with lots of side salad ,makes a nice change to get a decent one!

Super meal with family. Good selection to choose from. Lovely selection of vegetables to suit all tastes. Would recommend a table away from the door.

Great good , home cooked . Managed to fit us in when supposed to close , yet again above and beyond . The best place by fair to eat in Welshpool . Most meals less than £10 . You must visit here and don't go anywhere else

Thank bdumayne
